toronto based writer for internet & seo/sem
I am a copy writer, editor & seo specialist for the web, based in Toronto. In the past 1-2 years, I have gained a variety of skill sets that include both copy writing for web/print as well as search engine optimization (SEO) work. I'm currently writing/editing for TripAtlas.com and also have a channel in MSN.ca's Travel Section.
As a copy writer, I have experience working and writing for a variety of industries including insurance, academic institutions, marketing, travel, food, and lifestyle. This is often web-based work (articles, web copy) for various clients (content, texual, advertisements, banners, and etc), but also for print, e-newsletters, and etc.
I also work as an SEO specialist, a unique position as a copy writer with good knowledge of HTML. I have experience in affiliate advertising, information architecture, adword / keyword research and campaigns, reciprocal link partnerships & link building, statistics and analytics, development of organic search results via optimized web content - just to mention a few.
Internet marketing, social networking and driving online traffic is also part of various internet marketing initiatives that I am also experienced in. The use of social networking websites, tools, and applications like Digg, delicious, Magnolia, Newsvine, Facebook, Reddit, and others are also part of my day to day.
